AGENDA

This meeting was rescheduled from Wednesday 04/01/2020 due to Pandemic

            Welcome and Call to Order: Cathy Chinault

Board Members Only this meeting.  We will have another virtual meeting next month and decide on how we will handle others joining.

            Activities Director Report: Dean Spahr

• Dean set the meeting up via Zoom
• Access to the school is completely shut-off with the exception of 04/16/20 to hand out computers

            Treasurer’s Report:  Lisa Hord

• Reports are not yet ready as of yet but will have them ready by the weekend
• The balance in the account is $42,484.32 as of current date.
• The only bills left to pay are Pepsi and Griolis

            Officer updates:  Cathy, Rose, Jen, Lisa

• Hall of Fame 2020 – Last Home Game of next season. Deadline was extended to May 31, 2020
• Teams still eligible for the end of year $$$ is still the same as of March 2020.  Due to the pandemic the cut-off date is the March 11, 2020. April and May 2020 will not count since we can’t have a meeting for it.
• Student Design Contest will now have to be post-poned for this fall season
• Scholarship Deadline is extended to May 1, 2020 – currently there are 6 scholarship applications received
• Nominations so far this month
  • President – Caroline Leach nominated Cathy Chinault
  • Vice President – Michelle nominated Rose Bryant
  • Secretary – Joanna Reynolds nominated Jen Robinson
  • Treasurer – Lisa Hord nominated Dawn Jeckell

            After-Prom – Michelle Clark

• Michelle reported. 
• There is nothing new to report at this time.
• Dean reported everything is on hold.  Statewide we can’t do anything until June 10, 2020
• Suggestion made for the Seniors to receive all of the prizes this year if there has to be an alternative activity
• Hopefully will know more at the May meeting

            Fundraising Update

• Car Show – May 9^th, 2020 – must be rescheduled due to the closures
• Would like to do it as a “Back to School” themed fundraiser, sometime in August
• Dawn suggested a Mystery Dinner Theaters – the cost is about $800 for the company to come in to do this.  It was suggested that the Drama club/Theater department organize the Theme and storyline.  If so then a donation could be made to them

            Public Relations:  Jen Robinson/Melissa

• The counseling office asked for us to do a live Facebook feed for the announcement of the Scholarship recipients
• Nothing else new to report at this time

            New Business

• Cathy discussed adding new positions to the Board for next year
  • Fundraising/Community Support –
  • Student Representative – this could be a group of students with an alternate person attending each meeting

· Senior packages – since there is no school, a suggestion was made to do the yard signs and a pendant.  This can all be purchased online and delivered contactless.  Dean is going to reach out to Administration and will let us know.
