6:30 Welcome and Call to Order: Cathy Chinault
6:35 Activities Director Report: Dean Spahr
- Golf Regionals is Monday
- Field Hockey playoffs start the week of Homecoming
- Cross Country Regionals will be soon as well
- Feb 1 2020 for Craft Fair has been approved
- March 7 or 14 2020 for Bingo will work. Need to let Dean know which date will work
- November 23 Bingo date is approved
- May 9 2020 Car Show date approved
6:40 Treasurer’s Report: Lisa Hord
- Reports were emailed to Officers. She discussed the reports she emailed.
- If any Booster Member would like a copy of the Financial reports, they can be requested at any time from Lisa Hord, and she will email them to the member requesting them directly.
- Volleyball concessions has increased this season
- Credit card sales have helped steadily increase outdoor concessions and merchandise
6:45 Officer updates: Cathy, Rose, Jen, Lisa
- Cathy reported.
- Deadline of 09/30/19 for Booster Membership for Scholarship eligibility. Possible discussion of moving the date out further for next season.
- The application has been finalized and Cathy will be sending the Guidance office soon
- Cathy asked the coaches notify the Athletes that there are now Volunteer hours needed to be eligible for the scholarship. Must be Booster Exclusive hours, including After Prom functions. Volunteers must see a Board Member to have the hours signed off on. Also, the GPA.
- Hall of Fame – Friday Night November 1, 2019 – Meet & Greet will start around 5pm, then will go to the Hall of Fame area for pictures, then will go out to the Football game. They will be introduced during Halftime. This is also Senior night
6:50 Membership Update: Dawn Jeckell
- Dawn was unable to attend the meeting due to Volleyball game at Kettle Run
- Cathy reported on behalf of Dawn – we are approximately around mid-40’s on Booster members.
6:55 Concessions Update: Carolyn Leach / Joanna Reynolds
- Carolyn reported – Trying to get Pink Lemonade for the month of October
- For the Chicken Patties – they will be purchased from Grioli’s and we will try selling those. We need to purchase the “sauce” from Walmart. Will try these out at the Homecoming game
- The price will be getting reduced back to $3 per sandwich
- Trying to get an Airfryer to sell us fries on inside concessions for Basketball season
7:05 Volunteer Update: Kim/Crystal
- Kim reported – waiting on winter schedule in order to get the sign-up genius set up
- Email for Sign up genius search is lhsboostervolunteers@gmail.com
- Sign-up genius link will be posted on social media again
7:10 After-Prom – Michelle Clark
- Michelle reported. The theme will be “Liberty Summer Camp” this year. In looking at past years, After Prom spends approximately $12,000 to $15,000
- Prom will be held April 25
- 50/50 – seems to be going well so far
- Vendor/Craft Fair – February 1, 2020 – this will be one of the biggest fundraisers this year
- Spring Family Bingo – original date of March 21st or 28th will not work. Will be held March 7th or 14th
7:15 Fundraising Update
- The Golf Tournament – Postponed until Spring – this will be revisited in the winter
- Yard Signs for Homecoming – seems to be going well. Applications are available in concessions or you can order it on libertymerchandise.org
- Bingo – November 23rd – nothing new to report at this time. Rose will be working on that moving forward. Donations will be getting donated for both this Bingo and the Spring Bingo, and potentially after prom
- The Silent Auction will be the Themed baskets, donated by the teams
- Car Show – May 9th (Rain Date May 16th)
7:15 Public Relations: Jen Robinson/Melissa
- School Newspaper will be out by mid-October and will be handed out during the
7:20 Merchandise Update: Rose Bryant
- Rose reported. The Merchandise store flyers have been made and ready to be passed around
- Over $2300 has been ordered from the online store so far. System is getting worked out for distributing the orders once they come in. There is a shed key in the outdoor safe so everyone can access it.
- Pink Breast Cancer shirt has been added to the website for this month.
- White T-shirt will be added to the website shortly
- Looking at adding a long-sleeve hooded T-shirt shortly once it is designed
7:30 New Business
- There was no new business to discuss tonight
